Death Guard Plague Marines Unit 3
Please use the magnify button, the picture should be much sharper! It took me a lot of time to finish this unit (first this year), because of no time for painting. Fortunately, I started to use a wet palette which is perfect for people having only ~1 hour per day for painting. Although the result is not of higher quality than the other units it is acutally much more relaxed and fun to paint with such a wet palette. If you don't know what this is, here is a perfect tutorial. Thanks Jar! (Already metioned: I imagine the Death Guard still wearing their old pre-heresy armors (or at least parts of it) with some chaotic modifications. Thus, I chose the light grey as major color. And if you look very carefully you can even spot some rests of the old markings. I wanted to accomplish an cold and acid industrial look, so I didn't sculpt any demonic mutations, but a bit of plague boils...)
